STL Lab 2016 Open House

The Samuel Tak Lee MIT Real Estate Entrepreneurship Lab (STL Lab) kicked off the semester with an open house on Tuesday, September 20. Hosted in the new Innovation Hub in the Samual Tak Lee Building (Building 9), the open house welcomed students, faculty, and staff from across the school to learn about the array of activities the Lab is organizing this year.

The event featured demonstrations of the real estate game LivableCity developed by MIT Game Lab in both tablet and board game formats, the latter of which is being used to test the next iteration of the game. Attendees heard about the new multi-media case studies being developed by the lab to augment online courseware as well as in-class instruction. They caught up with the STL graduate fellows about their summer experiences and chatted with professors about their work supported by the Faculty Seed Fund.

The open house provided a glimpse into the diverse offerings of the STL Lab, and we look forward to further collaborations and engagement with the SA+P and MIT community this year.
